This trailhead has a dirt/gravel lot and a portable restroom and is located approximately in the center of the 1.8 mile paved section.

Construction of the trail southwest to South Prairie is scheduled for 2004.

A potential trail extension to Enumclaw is complicated by its passage through two counties and the need for an expensive bridge across the White River.
