  Potential Trail Extension to Enumclaw

Potential Trail Extension to Enumclaw

The old Northern Pacific rail line continued from Buckley across the White River to Enumclaw. The City of Enumclaw, assisted by the Backcountry Horsemen and the Foothills Rails-To-Trails Coalition, began clearing one mile of scenic trail in Enumclaw in 2002.

Take SR410 eastbound past Sumner, Bonney Lake, Buckley and across the White River. Turn right onto Warner Ave. Look for parking and the trail on the right.

Connecting the trail to Buckley will be difficult due to the involvement of both Pierce and King Counties and the need for an expensive bridge across the White River.
We will update this page as new information becomes available.
